Description:
It is the purpose of this document to define roles and tasks for the parties involved in the test and certification process for PROFIsafe devices.
It is highly recommended to clarify the allover test and certification procedure with a "Notified Body" very early in the development process. This document is proposing a "standard" procedure that is harmonized with BGIA and TÜV exemplary.
The roles and tasks of the PROFIBUS / PROFINET Test Labs are defined in detail within this document.
PROFIsafe Test Specification V2.3 is a maintenance update of V2.2.
The main changes are:
- the Grandfathering rules and clauses are updated and
- the Manufacturer declarations are reduced to the up today needs
