The PROFIBUS Diagnostic Connector Axial Fast Connect is a shielded, non-reactive bus connector with an integrated PG/service interface, designed to provide permanent diagnostic and programming access at any PROFIBUS node without interrupting bus communication. The axial (0°) cable outlet delivers the lowest profile of any connector in this family, making it the preferred choice for installations where vertical space above the connector is the primary constraint.
 

Compatible with the PROFtest II XL, PROFI-TM Professional, and PROFIBUS-INspektor® NT, the connector meets Fast Connect requirements and supports all standard PROFIBUS baud rates from 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps.

Four integrated status LEDs (Power, TxD, Termination, Error) that provide immediate visual indication of bus conditions directly at the connection point. The Error LED specifically signals reflections and missing terminating resistors — common causes of intermittent PROFIBUS faults that are otherwise difficult to localize without test equipment.
 

Integrated terminating resistor switchable via external sliding switch, allowing segment termination to be enabled or disabled without opening the housing or disconnecting the cable. This simplifies segment configuration during commissioning and troubleshooting.
 

Axial (0°) cable outlet with IDC insulation piercing terminal for Fast Connect PROFIBUS cable, enabling tool-free cable termination with the cable running straight through the connector body.
